Install AENC from F-Droid

This is the offline build. Add our repository once and F-Droid keeps AENC up to date for you. Everything here is signed by us and none of it needs Google.

Open this page on your phone and tap the button. Your F-Droid app opens and offers to add AENC. If nothing happens, scan the QR code or add the address by hand from the steps below.

How to add it

  1. Make sure you have an F-Droid client on the phone. The F-Droid app, Droid-ify and Neo Store all work. If you have none yet, install one first and come back here.
  2. Tap the Get it on F-Droid button above, or scan the QR code. Your client opens on the add repository screen already filled in.
  3. Check that the fingerprint on that screen matches the one shown below, then tap Add.
  4. Wait a moment while F-Droid refreshes its list, then search for AENC and install it. New versions show up on their own after that.
